It's that time of year again, where I find myself doing what so many of us do; reflecting on the year behind us and thinking about what's ahead.

This past year has been pretty life-changing. A year of family changes. A year of loss - but in parallel, boundless connection. A realisation around life in all its glory; the love around it, the lives lost from it, the growth and shit loads of action that comes from it.

Last year I started to publish my 'love notes' as an open letter of gratitude to the people who have impacted me in the year. This year is no different; I've had some of the best cheerleaders, friends, family, colleagues and connections that have had an enormous impact on me and my outlook.

For those of you in this list below, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have shown me the humanity that one could only wish for.

In no particular order, here's what I have learnt from you, what I admire about you or what I'm genuinely grateful for:

Paramjit Kaur Matharu - you are an utter inspiration and I can't thank you enough for what you have guided me through. I'm indebted to you for all the love and support you gave me.

Kiran Kaur - you know the score. I utterly admire your strength, your loyalty and your endless love. I love our laughs and what you bring to the world. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done. Love you.

Gavin Wye - thank you for all those chats we had, and the way you rocked up regardless of everything. Those shared adventures were wonderful, and the support and compassion you gave me is priceless.

Stefan Powell - your endless respect, cheerleading, coaching and the friendship you have shown to me is one in a million. I've learnt the art of compassionate fearlessness from you this year. You rock.

Tom Loosemore - your constant support, words of belief and humility will always mean a lot to me. Thank you for everything.

Ben Holloway - always there and always you. And always a cracking time reminiscing and scheming. Legend as always.

Linda Essen-Möller - absolutely love working with you and the friendship you have given me this year is utterly magic.

Emma Gawen - grateful to you for always giving me the space to be creative and the agency to crack on with my gut instinct. Thank you.

Claire Brickell - I've loved our meets and chats this year, and I'm honoured to call you a friend. Thank you for all that you've supported me with.

Beth Mattison - no words, but you know what I'd say. You have been with me throughout. And I wouldn't have got over the mountains I needed to this year without you. Love you woman.

Dave Rogers - thank you for everything this year. The support and space you have shared with me is treasured. It's been fab working with you.

Mike Bracken - from Barbs and beyond, it's been cracking to work alongside you. And your constant words of encouragement have been brilliant. Thank you.

Lauren Kahn - Always supporting, caring and being such a loving friend through it all. Thank you for everything.

Andrew Greenway - for always being a hub of immense knowledge and stoic advice. Looking forward to working with you more next year.

Ben Terrett - so much laughter and some cracking moments this year. I'm grateful for your honesty (about everything), your support, openness and creativity.

Amy McNichol - I love your kindness, your words and your wholesome spark. Thank you for honouring me as a contributor this year. And living it up in Barbs!

Lara Sampson - so grateful for the space, support, compassion and cheerleading. Thank you for everything.

My siblings and their spouses - Charan, Bhupinder, Manu and Resham. I couldn't have got through what I did without you all. I love the way you all rallied together and held the space for the chaos (!) and support over this year. I love you all so very much.

My parents - words can't really do justice to what you have done for me this year in particular. Your endless love, support and grace; I can't quite capture how grateful I am for you both.

Every single person at Public Digital - I learn so much from you and still feel in awe of the brilliance you all have in your own respective spaces.

I look back at January this year, and reflect on how far we've come as a collective and how much more we're yet to embrace. Thank you everyone.

Here's to 2026.

Big love.
